I can't compile the BigTIFF http://bigtiff.org/ version of the libtiff library:

make *** no rule to make target "tiff-4.0/libtiff/*.c"

Can you help me?

I never tried to compile the bigtiff library myself. The error you get looks like you either mis"configure.sh"-ed the library before running "make", or something else in the Makefile is bad. I'd contact the developers directly about this.
